The company TVT Boris Kidrič, the founder of the hot water tank production plant, reaches an agreement for enamelling new tank products with the company Austria Email from Austria. This was fundamental for plans for own enamelling capacities. |

1974 - 1977
|
the project was prepared, the plant built and test production started in Lenart. The grand opening of the new water heater production and enamelling plant TVT Lenart was in 1977. This was achieved under the supervision of the company TAM - development cooperation with many companies from Austria and Germany. The most important partner was the company Austria Email that supplied the technology and equipment for vacuum enamelling and sold the rights for patent use. |

In the beginning tanks were only assembled, welded and enamelled in Lenart, all in one place. Considering the fact that is was necessary to master the technology of lixiviation and thereby neutralize the waste water, this process took great effort and commitment. |

New technologies of hot water tanks were a result of broad international cooperation between Austrian, German and Slovenian companies. The Plant’s development proceeded in next phases: |

Installation of a 630 ton hydraulic press for tank bottom production and an edging machine for weld bow preparation. |

Today we have 3400 square meters of factory floor available for production use, 300 in closed warehouses and 420 in covered depositing floor. At present the organisation of work and technical equipment allows us to produce 20.000 water heaters and 4.000 buffer tanks a year in different types, with 80 to 90 employees. The factory is divided into departments: mechanical pre-processing, welding, enamelling, polyurethane isolation and assembly with packaging.
